Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede, has recounted how she escaped from an attempted robbery while in traffic.
The actress took to her Instagram page to share her ordeal and to warn drivers who often drive alone.
According to her, the attacker had attempted to rob her but the traffic had moved a little so she was able to drive through for an escape. She said people need to be careful especially ladies driving alone in Lagos.
She posted a screenshot of her tweet on her Instagram, it reads, “Last night at about 9pm, one guy almost robbed me on 3rdMB. I was lucky the traffic moved a bit so I moved my car and then he took off.
“Under the bridge at Oworonshoki needs to be sanitized. The guy jumped out from under the bridge. They target people driving alone. Be safe guys.”
Her caption read, “If you are driving alone in traffic, don’t drive on the fast lane (the last lane by your left), let your car be in between cars.
“Ladies especially, if you can, please stay wherever you are till you see daylight. There is hunger in town.”
