How I almost turned down role in Jagunjagun – Actress Fathia Williams

Nollywood actress, Fathia Williams, has revealed how she almost declined working on the trending Netflix movie, Jagunjagun, by Femi Adebayo.

The movie premiered a few days ago and has been streamed on the platform. Femi recently celebrated being in the top 10 of movies seen in over 17 countries.

Fathia in her Instagram page shared her gratitude to God, the crew, Femi for the opportunity and her fans.

In the lengthy post, she said she had accepted to play the role after she was persuaded by her management.

Her post read, “From the very moment I held the script of ‘Jagun Jagun’ in my hands, little did I fathom the profound journey it would embark upon. While Femi’s visionary approach was evident, the depth and intricacy of his ambition for this masterpiece only truly unveiled itself on the silver screen.

“Jagun Jagun is not just a movie; it’s a tapestry of emotions, dedication, and sheer artistry. A heartfelt salute to the post-production maestros, led by the impeccable talents of @anthills_ and @niyiakinmolayan, who breathed life into this vision.

In the movie, she had played the role of the wife of the feared warlord, Ogunjimi.
