Media personality, Toke Makinwa, has shared her ordeal following the collapse of her marriage with Maje Ayida.
The marriage which had officially ended in 2017 over infidelity had already collapsed two years prior.
Toke in one of her YouTube Vlogs, Toke Moments, said she was close to crumbling but she had diverted her grief to her job.
She said she had been excused from work because her boss thought she was going to break down and it would affect the job.
Toke said, “I think that was the only thing that I was sure of in my life. Every other thing that was familiar has failed. The world that I had built had crumbled. And the only thing that I was sure of, was my job.
“I remember walking into the [radio] studio, and like 7am the World News goes on. And there is a call from the owner of the radio station, and he is like, ‘everyone is talking about you, I don’t want to get into it but people are thinking you would literally fall apart. I think you need to go home.'”
Alleged reports stated that her husband had impregnated his ex-lover who is now the wife of Ayida presently.
