Nollywood actor, Stan Nze, has revealed how he met his wife and colleague, Blessing Obasi, in a recent interview.
In the interview, Stan revealed they had started their relationship in 2017 after meeting at a Film festival but he noticed her in 2017 on his birthday.
He said that a man, Tunde Onakoya, who was a staff of Africa Magic, had linked them up.
When asked how he met Blessing, he said, “It was at the Eko film festival. I featured in a film screened at the festival, ‘Just No Marriage’.
“That was where I met her for the first time. She was also there for the screening. I don’t remember that, but she showed me the picture because we took pictures then.
“The first time I took note of her was on my birthday, May 15, 2017. I went to a studio in Ilupeju, Lagos, to give them one of my contents, a film I had made, and she also as a producer came with one of her films.
“A guy named Tunde Onakoya, who used to work with Africa Magic, said to us, “you don’t know Blessing, she is a producer oo” and he tells her, “he is an actor oo make you na meet na.”
“And I started saying to her, madam, give us a role na. That was the first time I took note of her.”
According to him, he had decided after their trip to Dubai that he would marry Blessing. He stated that they had had a huge fight after the trip and had separated for a while and that had hit the reality button in him. So he had taken the next step.
The duo got married in September 2021 and had interviews after. Stan Nze revealed their age differences in some of the interviews and how it wasn’t a big deal.
