How Jim Iyke paid to beat me to promote ‘Bad Comments’ – Uche Maduagwu

Nollywood actor and influencer, Uche Maduagwu, also known as the ‘Red Bra activist’ has revealed that Nollywood star, Jim Iyke, paid him some money to promote his movie ‘Bad Comments’.

According to Maduagwu, Jim Iyke paid him N4.8m to pull a stunt on the public.

Recall that Jim Iyke had challenged Maduagwu in a viral video just days to his movie release, and the confrontation had resulted in a fist fight.

Jim Iyke had confronted Maduagwu after the influencer posted that Jim Iyke’s source of wealth is fishy and should be investigated.

However, Maduagwu has claimed that it was all a stunt.

Maduagwu took to his Instagram to brag about being the biggest influencer in the country. He also revealed the amount he received from the ‘Bad Comments’ actor.

His caption read, “He paid me N3.6 million to promote Bad Comments movie and added N1.2 million after it went viral. I’m not just the most talked-about movie star in Africa. I’m the biggest brand influencer.

“Jim Iyke is like a big brother to me. He saw potentials in me. Today, Bad Comments movie became the biggest cinema film in 2021 because he saw my brand influencing power and worked with me.

“Mr. Moses is a great director too. I influence brands to success because I am the most talked-about movie star for Africa.”

This is also coming hours after Jim Iyke’s interview with Chude became viral.

In the interview, Jim Iyke revealed he orchestrated the stunt with Maduagwu to promote the movie.
