Ex-beauty queen and businesswoman, Dabota Lawson, has opened up about her failed marriage and how her parents had accepted her in open arms when she returned home.
Dabota in an interview on TVC’s Your View, stated that her parents were elated when she returned from her marriage.
She said her ex-husband had apologised after but she had moved on from the walls of the marriage. According to her, she forgave him.
The businesswoman said, “My parents were so happy to have me back, my dad and my mother didn’t ask any questions.
“Nobody really wanted to stress me about it. I just went home and was fine.
“He contacted me and apologised for a lot of things but I have moved past that stage.
“I’m not emotionally invested in it so I was able to forgive and we have been fine since then.”
She was married to billionaire businessman, Prince Sunny Aku, but their marriage had ended before their first wedding anniversary.
