Filmmaker and the husband of actress Chacha Eke, Austin Faani, has opened up about the struggles and what led to his wife’s mental disorder.
In a gathering about mental health, Austin talked about how he had been scammed several times while trying to find a lasting solution to his wife’s illness.
He also talked about when the illness started and how it had become an occurrence over their years of marriage.
Recall that in 2022, Chacha in several posts had stated that she suffers from bipolar disease and had opted out of her marriage twice.
Austin stated that he had to bundle her from the public eye when she starts with the moods and attacks.
He went further to state that Chacha’s case worsens whenever she is pregnant. “Her mental issues gets worse when she gets pregnant. It’s as if something is coming to take away that baby so that she will be fine. So it starts with pregnancy,” he said.
The father of four said a religious leader had requested for animal sacrifices and nothing happened afterwards before they met their doctor who helped them.
