The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo, has refuted claims that he has stepped down from the race.

Reports had surfaced on social media that Adebayo and the SDP had collapsed their structures for the Labour Party and its candidate, Peter Obi.

In a tweet on the eve of the exercise, the renowned legal practitioner described Obi and his party as fraudulent and corrupt.

He, however, urged the relevant authorities to take note, adding that their action is a gross violation of the Electoral Act.

His words: ” @PeterObi and corrupt  @NgLabour are still spreading fake news about my candidacy. @inecnigeria and  @NigeriapolicePR should take note of this gross violation of the Electoral Act.  @PeterObi wants to use fraud to steal the outcome of the election. This is a crime. Not fit”.
