The Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Sunday, says he is healthy and ready to serve Nigerians.

He made this claim to debunk rumours making the rounds that he is sick and receiving medical treatment in London.

Tinubu in a video posted on his official Twitter handle was seen working out on stationary exercise bike.

He wrote, “Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign. Well… Nope”.

“This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am ready to serve Nigerians from day one”.

It would be recalled that Tinubu was absent on Thursday, last week, when presidential candidates of other political parties signed a peace accord ahead of the 2023 general election.

Tinubu was represented by his running mate, Kashim Shettima, at the event, which took place at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja, under the auspices of the National Peace Committee (NPC) headed by former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar.

Major contenders in the presidential race, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP); Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), Adebayo Adebayo of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), were all present.

A report had earlier emerged that the APC candidate was in London, United Kingdom, while some speculated that he may be treating an ailment in London.
