India recorded its highest daily deaths from the coronavirus with 33 in the last 24 hours.
The country’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal confirmed this on Friday.
He also added that 678 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.
India has reported 6,412 coronavirus cases and 199 deaths so far.
There’s been over 1.6 million cases worldwide and almost 100,00 deaths.
