Instagram comedian and social media Influencer, Nwagbo Oliver Chidera professionally known as Pankeeroy, has been arrested by the operatives of the Lagos Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged internet fraud.
Pankeeroy, who was arrested on Wednesday, April 21, alongside 34 others, was paraded on Thursday, April 22, 2021.
According to the EFCC, the suspects were arrested on Wednesday, April 21, at their hideout in James Court, Lekki, Lagos.
In a statement made by the commission, Pankeeroy had been presenting himself as a vendor who redeems bitcoin vouchers using the bitcoincoretrading.com platform to defraud his unsuspecting victims.
According to the suspect, he has been into the crime since he suffered depression.
Items recovered include: Mercedes Benz AMG GLE model worth N36,000,000, bitcoin worth N22,300,000 in his blocked chain account, exotic cars, iphones, Android device and Macbooks.
