Daughter of legendary singer Fela Kuti, Yeni Kuti, has shown her concern over a bully video clip she got.
According to the dancer and singer, it’s a new thing to her and such acts shouldn’t be allowed by seniors.
The video showed some group of older boys in uniform pushing and shoving some younger boys in similar uniforms.
Yeni said rules need to be set in high schools to curb bullying, especially in boarding schools.
“A young boy I know attends King’s college and complains of being bullied. He sent this video he recorded to his ward, of young boys being bullied.
“I know a young lady who works with me and surprise surprise she says it’s normal. I am in acute SHOCK! NORMAL???
“How can beating young kids be normal. What if they are injured? I beg o please tell me am I too old? Is this normal?
“Shouldn’t something be done about this before a child gets seriously injured? I was never a boarder so I don’t think I can ever understand beating people’s children like this.”
