Piers Morgan has been fired from ITV’s Good Morning Britain. This incident occurred after the back and forth words thrown at Meghan Markle over her interview with Oprah Winfred.

This brings the host’s time on the breakfast show to an end after six years.

ITV announced the decision after Ofcom said it was investigating his comments after receiving 41,000 complaints.

Recall that Piers Morgan had picked on Meghan countless times on Monday, following her interview with Oprah.

Meghan had claimed her request to Senior Buckingham Palace officials for help was rejected when she was having suicide thoughts.

However, Piers has stated he doesn’t believe a word that has anything to do with Meghan, he claimed she was lying.

He said, “Who did you go to?”, “what do they say to you? I’m sorry. I don’t believe a word she said, Meghan Markle. I wouldn’t believe it if she read me a weather report.

Piers also referred her to a “Pinocchio Princess” in a tweet.

According to ITV, the controversial host has decided to leave the show and it was granted.

An ITV spokesperson said: “Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain. ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add.”

His departure followed an on-air clash with weather presenter Alex Beresford, who criticised Morgan on Tuesday for “continuing to trash” the duchess since she cut him off. This made Piers leave the show angrily only to return tea minutes after.

No word has been heard from the controversial royal troll who is always ready for a backlash.
