Afrobeat singer, Oluwajuwonlo Iledare, also known as Jaywon, has revealed that he has never felt any kind of intimidation from his colleagues in the music industry since his early beginnings.

The singer, in an interview with Sunday Scoop, said the music industry is all about mapping your strategy and having a distinctive competition advantage to yourself.

According to him, a bad attitude is the only reason one feels uncomfortable in a gathering or the reason one assumes there is a clique in the industry.

He said he has not felt intimidated since he started his career.

Jaywon said, “Intimidation only affects those who feel insecure about themselves.

“If you are confident in yourself, your art and God-given talent, you can never be intimidated.

“I am more than confident in my art, so, I can never feel intimidated by anyone.

“Confidence doesn’t mean you are the best, but having the belief that you can stand shoulder-to -shoulder with those who consider themselves the best and even beat them at it.”
