American singer, John Legend’s wife, Chrissy Teigen, has finally returned to Twitter weeks after deactivating her account.

The controversial model revealed she was done with the negativity that comes with the social media. This happened after she received backlash from fans over a collaboration.

However, after three weeks of not having her regular spiral on Twitter, she has returned.

Teigen deactivated her account on March 24, after giving an emotional speech about how she feels with her 13.7 million followers.

In a series of tweets, Teigen stated that her reason for leaving the platform was because of negativity, adding that the environment had changed her into something she was not.

A fan asked how she spent her weeks and she replied with “spent weeks just saying tweets to shampoo bottles.”

Teigen said, “God I have said fuc*ed up sh*t and killed myself over it as much as you killed me. But one thing I haven’t learned is how to block out the negativity.

“My desire to be liked and fear of pissing people off has made me somebody you didn’t sign up for, and a different human than I started out here as! Live well, tweeters. Please know all I ever cared about was you!!!”

However, it seems people are not pleased with the model, who many have called an attention-seeker.

Some claimed she could have just left the app quietly to resume days later instead of the public announcement only to return weeks later.

A Twitter user said, “Most relatable thing Chrissy Teigen has ever done is
dramatically quit social media and come back 2 weeks later.”

Another one said, “Imagine if Chrissy Teigen would have just quietly walked away from the app for a few days instead of making an announcement. It’s almost as if she needs all of the attention….because she is a narcissist.”

The model, who is always known to have something to say, recently shared her story on procedures done after the loss of their third child, Jack.

Best known for her drama queen attribute, Teigen returned to Twitter on Friday, April 16.
