Former Big Brother Naija star and actor, Seyi Awolowo, has revealed his intention when it comes to acting, stating that he needs more villain roles in the future.

The fast rising actor, who recently featured in Toyin Abraham’s movie ‘Prophetess’, revealed in an interview that he would like to have more tough roles like the bosses in movies.

He said, “I look forward to playing the role of a villain in a movie. Everyone wants to be the actor, no one wants to be the boss. I want to see what I would look like playing a villain.”

Seyi also talked about how he handles female attention both as an ex-BBNaija star and actor.

According to him, it’s normal to have female attention and he knows how to handle them.

He said, “I handle it like part of everyday life. It is normal and something that is bound to happen. I am sure they know where they are supposed to be and when they are supposed to be there.”

“It comes with the territory. One has to understand and accept that one is human and one should live life at one’s pace. One should never live according to another person’s pace. One has to be wise, do one’s best and not jump the gun. Expect criticisms and get better from them.”

Awolowo also showed gratitude to Big Brother Naija who gave him the platform to gain more after the show.

“BBN has opened quite a lot of business opportunities for me. It has made me have conversations I did not expect I could have. I have been in rooms I did think I could be in. The show gave me popularity I did not expect to have.”

When asked about his experience with COVID-19 lockdown, he said, “I had a fantastic support system that was there for me. We had conversations, made jest of one another, and shared whatever we had. I was fortunate to have a good support system at the time.”

Seyi Awolowo is the son of the late chairman of African Newspapers Limited and also the grandson of legendary politician, Obafemi Awolowo.
