American rapper, Kanye West, aka Ye, has been sued by Boogie Down productions over a track in the artiste’s Donda album.

The record company in court documents claimed that the song ‘South Bronx’, a diss track is owned by them and that the rapper didn’t get permission to sample the song.

Kanye uploaded his Andre 3000 collaboration ‘Life Of The Party’ on his Stem Player device.

Ye, who has been going through several lawsuits and brands cutting ties with him, had been sued after the album sold about 11k Stem Players, ranking around $2.2 million in the first 24 hours after release.

The lawsuit claims Ye & his partner heavily advertised the track using the ‘South Bronx’ sample to promote the album.

Boogie Down Productions stated that the rapper should hand over profits made from the song.
