The member of the Taraba state House of Assembly, Barr. Bashir Mohammed has regained freedom from his abductors.
The Taraba lawmaker was kidnapped by unknown gunmen on Wednesday.
A family disclosed on Saturday, that Mohammed was released by his abductors at about 10.30 pm on Friday, December 11.
The source did not disclose whether or how much was paid as ransom to the kidnappers before the release of the lawmaker.
The lawmaker has been rushed to an undisclosed hospital for medical attention since his release.
Barr. Bashir Mohammed was kidnapped at his home in Taraba State.
