No fewer than nine persons said to be travelling in a Toyota Sienna space bus were today, kidnapped by gunmen suspected to be herdsmen in Ondo State.
Kaftan Post gathered that the passengers who were on their way to Lagos were abducted at Isua area in Akoko South-East local government area of the state.
In a related development, the Ondo State Police spokesman, Tee-Leo Ikoro, however confirmed that one of the victims has been rescued.
A family member of one of the abductees, identified as Bamidele Ojo, revealed that the kidnappers have demanded N100m ransom.
The police PRO however said efforts were in top gear to ensure the release of the other victims.
He also added that the police were working with hunters, local vigilante groups and other agencies to ensure their safe release in no distant time.
