KOB returns: Kemi Adetiba releases date for ‘The Return of the King’

Nigerian Filmmaker and Director, Kemi Adetiba, has announced the date for the sequel of movie, ‘King of Boys’.

Adetiba revealed that the name has changed since the project changed from a film to a series. According to her post, the new title, ‘KOB: THE RETURN OF THE KING’, is the first original Netflix series from Nigeria.

She also stated that the series will begin on Netflix on August 27, exactly one month from now.

She posted this on her Instagram page on Monday, July 26, 2021.

Boys and Girls…I said when it came, it would be good.
Two HUGE ANNOUNCEMENTS.

“1. You can now confidently set your reminders and refresh your NETFLIX accounts. KOB 2 is officially landing on August 27th, 2021. No going back now.

“2. KOB 2 is no longer called KING OF BOYS 2.
Why? Cos it’s not a FILM. It’s a 7-EPISODE LIMITED SERIES!!!

“YES… You heard me right. SEVEN!!!! SERIES. NETFLIX’S FIRST ORIGINAL SERIES OUT OF NIGERIA!!

“Now called KOB: THE RETURN OF THE KING!!!
See you on AUGUST 27TH!!! ??
