Late rapper, Dagrin, declared wanted in Sierra Leone

The Sierra Leone Police have declared the late rapper, Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun aka Dagrin, wanted twelve years after his death.

A social media user posted a picture of a wanted list by the Sierra Leone Police.

The user claimed that the Police are looking for some men involved in a violent protest held in the country.

A closer look of the picture shows one of the pictures taken by the rapper before his death. He posed with a local gun.

The user stated that the country never ceases to amaze him.

The post read, “The Sierra Leone Police released pictures of people who were part of the violence protest last week and late Nigerian rapper Dagrin is one of them.

“This country will always amaze me.”

Dagrin had lost his life in an accident in April 2010 and had died a week later at exactly 6 pm on Thursday, April 22, 2010, at the Lagos State Teaching Hospital, LUTH.

He was buried amidst tears on Friday, April 30, 2010, at the Ebony Millennium Private Vault, Atan Cemetery. He died aged 26.
