A 24 year- Old suspected armed robber, Lukman Atanda has been arrested for allegedly robbing a chemist shop at Sari Iganmu area of Lagos State on Tuesday.
The suspects and his gang of four were said to have rode on motorcycle to rob the chemist shop around 8:00p.m. at number 10, Idenu Close, Sari Iganmu, area of the State.
It was learnt that the suspect and his gangs had been terrorising the residents of Sari – Iganmu, Ijora -Badia and Amukoko communities.
One China Chidiezerim, the owner of the chemist shop was said to have reported the incident to Orile Police Station, in which the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Orile station and his men swung into action.
As the Police received the distress call they moved straight to the scene and in the process one Lukman Atanda was arrested in the act and one cut to size locally made pistol was recovered from him.
