Media personality, Biyi Tudors, who recently searched for a lover online has landed in a domestic violence scandal.
Recall that early last year, the media personality has revealed he is on a lookout for a serious relationship with a lady between the ages of 22 and 25.
Days later, he announced he found her, showing a picture with caption, “search successful” on May 21, 2020.
The duo however reappeared in the news over alleged domestic violence.
Biyi took to his social media to post, “I’ve escalated to the police and will pursue this case to every length. My being a man doesn’t mean you should strike, hit, abuse and provoke me. I feel pain too. I have been nothing but good to you!”
The lady, Bena, also took to her page to rant about how manipulative Biyi is, she claimed he is lying and she is also ready to use the law against him.
She said, ” Manipulative Bastard. You beat me so much that i was trying to fight back, then you come out saying i beat you…f***king liar! Keep on strangling me to the wall hoping to kill me as a beast that you are. I am at Magodo police station currently.”
Denying all allegations, Biyi took to his twitter to explain what happened. He said, “I was recently involved in a domestic abuse situation and truthfully, it has been one of the most unpleasant experiences of my life. As much as I’ll like to keep a lot of details about my relationship private for now.
“I’ll like to state that what may come off as me laying my hands on Bena was nothing but self defense. I was trapped and physically violated in a corner of my home because i ended my relationship with Bena.
“I was beaten and hit with things she could easily find. I didn’t react at first because I wanted to be that guy that I drag and curse everyday for perpetuating violence. I held my peace until I was sure that if i didn’t find a way out of that situation, i would lose my life or be severely hurt.
“I was on the visitor’s toilet seat when she came in and shoved me. The push she gave me sent me crashing back into the toilet seat and the results is in the picture below.
Biyi showed a water closet toilet badly destroyed.
“It was all in this confined space that everything took place,” he continued.
He then proceeded to apologize for problems caused to his fans and well wishers, he claimed although people are blaming him, he would if it had happened to someone else.
The media personality has always being advocating for the reduce of domestic violence. In his apology statement, he said, “In all these, the only thing i am truly sorry for is not walking away when i sensed that i was going to be violated.
“I’ll like to apologize to everyone that must have been disappointed by this incident and i hope that the truth reveals itself someday soon,” he concluded with a “thank you”.
