Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, and her ex-husband, Lanre Gentry, engaged in heated back-and-forth abuses on Instagram, over father’s day celebration.
As usual, Mercy Aigbe took to her Instagram page on Sunday, June 20, to wish herself a happy father’s day as a single mother of two, revealing that one of her children is an international student and she pays her fees in dollars. Her estranged husband wasn’t pleased with it.
Lanre Gentry slammed Aigbe over her posts stating that she can go ahead to pay their son’s school fees in dollars or take them to the moon, he cares less.
He went further to state that women who celebrate father’s day are not of good upbringing.
Mercy replied him, calling him an irresponsible father.
She said, “Mr Lanre Gentry you better stop with the stupid lies! You better don’t just infuriate me! Gentry call your useless father to order oh cos, really I have had enough of his nonsense!!!!!
“And the most irresponsible father award goes to my Ex! This shameless man who instead of him to cover his face in shame, will rather come online to post rubbish!
“I normally ignore you when you respond to my Father’s Day post! But you see this one! Bring it on!!!! I am READY!!!!!!! Alailojuti.”
The duo went back and forth in throwing hurtful words to themselves. Lanre Gentry threatened to reveal all Mercy’s atrocities, saying he is stalling because of their son and because she is a great mother to their son.
In his words, “It doesn’t take me a minute to expose all your shady secrets callous inhuman and prostitution acts with all your so call marketer, but I will not because of my son Olajuwon and your very good mother.
“But when the time comes the whole world will still know the fake life you’re living and you need to stop all this your arogant life.”
Reacting to this, Aigbe dared him, calling him “shameless”. According to her, she has receipts of how Gentry is an irresponsible father and she is ready to reveal all in a live video.
Mercy and Gentry have been on each other’s throats ever since their messy breakup in 2017 when Aigbe accused her estranged husband of domestic abuse.
