BBNaija season 4 winner, Mercy Eke, has reacted to the age scandal that surfaced after her voter’s card became public.
The reality star came under fire some hours ago when a follower exposed her real age from her VIN.
Mercy had hidden her date of birth on her post where she shared her voter’s card in order to encourage people to get theirs.
Since then, the reality star has been criticised for changing her age and using the TV age.
Her colleague, Cee Cee, also threw a subtle shade shortly after the news broke. Cee Cee stated that she would also like to change her age because her current age, 30, doesn’t fit her look.
Cee Cee wrote, “My pretty girl era. It’s like I go reduce my age oh. 30 years no just fit me.”
In a new post made by Mercy on Twitter, she went on to encourage people to get their PVCs in anticipation of the general elections in February.
She tweeted, “It’s a new day to pick your PVC, don’t miss out on exercising your right. Love you.”
One fan replied to the post, “But you’re close to 40 yrs old why you dey lie for us.”
The unbothered Mercy Eke replied to the troll, “I’m actually 52.”
