Muyiwa Ademola, William Uchemba, others react to Davido’s loss

Celebrities have reacted to the tragic death of Davido’s first son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, who died as a result of drowning on October 31st, 2022.

The terrible news had circulated the media in the late hours of Monday.

According to a source, the deceased was rushed to Evercare hospital when the unconscious body was found in the pool but he was pronounced dead.

A distraught Davido had been taken to his father’s house at Banana Island in Lagos.

In reaction to this, celebrities have shared their emotions via their social media pages.

Nollywood actor, Muyiwa Ademola expressed his shock and displeasure over the death of the little boy who recently celebrated his third birthday.

Muyiwa advised that children who are in the vicinity of swimming pools should be carefully monitored to avoid incidents like this. He prayed for the family of Adeleke as they go through this unfortunate moment.

One of his post read, “It is one of the saddest thing when kids are being buried by parents. We really wish it never happened! May The Almighty gives the parents and the entire Adeleke family the strength to bear this loss.

“Please and please if you have a pool in your house and you have little children, endeavor to secure free entry to the pool, ensure no one except adults and supervised children gets in.

“Maybe govt should begin to give modalities etc to those who wants to infuse swimming pools into their house structures, just maybe, just maybe. Rest In Peace Champ.”

In another post, he wrote, “We can’t just act as if nothing happened because we love them and we are all parents. May we never bury our children.”

Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Johnson, Mercy Aigbe have all taken to their social media with the heartbreak emoji to express their sadness over the news.

Actor Williams Uchemba took to his Instagram page to react. He said he prayed that the news was in fact false when he heard it.

“I said I won’t believe anything on SM until I personally confirm myself. I prayed for it to be false. I am upset, pained and confused. Nobody deserves to feel this pain.” He equally begged his fans to pray for the family.

Reacting to the news, singer Slimcase slammed his colleagues for always ‘moving on’ immediately after sad incidents.
