Nigeria, on Wednesday, recorded 48 fresh cases of coronavirus.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) which announced this via Twitter last night, also confirmed the country’s tally as 166,146.
According to the agency, the fresh cases were recorded in five states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Lagos led the way with 22 cases, followed by Rivers (11), Enugu (11), Kaduna (2), FCT (1) and Gombe (1).
The NCDC also revealed that one patient was discharged, taking the total recoveries to 156,529.
However, no new death was recorded, keeping the country’s fatality at 2,071.
Lagos remains the epicentre with 58,934.
The FCT is next with 19,860 followed by Kaduna (9,074), Plateau (9,061) and Rivers (7,239).
