Singer Brymo and comedian Basketmouth have berated their colleague, Peter Okoye, over his demeaning words to saxophonist Seun Kuti.
Recall that a few hours ago, Peter Okoye, in a series of posts on his Instagram page had called Seun Kuti out for referring to Labour party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, an opportunist in an interview.
The Psquare member said Seun is only feeding on the fame made by his father. He referred to himself as self made.
In response to that, Brymo slammed Peter for his posts. He said Psquare’s fame wasn’t self made but gains made from sponsors.
He wrote, “Bros…you never delete?…you go keep this post wey trifle your pops, just cause it reads like you are self-made and he inherited fame?…that’s your point right?…this belittle yours. This is quite self serving, I doubt you own your successes, you belong to your sponsors?.”
Basketmouth also dropped a subtle shade to the singer in a post. He stated that no one is actually self made.
He wrote, “If our fathers never existed, we won’t be here.
“Nobody is ‘self made’.”
Peter Okoye is yet to respond to the new posts. Instead, the singer turned actor took to his Instagram page to post a picture of himself with caption, “Clean and classy.”
