The monarch of Ikate kingdom, Oba Saheed Elegushi, has lost his only son to death.
The son, heir to the throne, who was birthed by the second wife, Hadiza Elegushi nee Tanko, in August 2020, has been reported dead.
Oba Saheed’s son was aged one year and a few months old. However, the cause of death is yet to be disclosed.
The Ikate kingdom has been thrown into mourning following the demise.
Oba Elegushi had recently celebrated his first wife, Sekinat, who he referred to as his queen forever.
