Edo State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu, has renounced his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Mr Shaibu announced his exit from the party on Tuesday, following in the steps of the governor, Godwin Obaseki, who had earlier in the day announced his departure from the party.
Mr Obaseki said he would, in the coming days, announce the new party where he hopes to seek re-election from after being disqualified from partaking in the APC governorship primary slated for June 22.
