The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the suspension of its ongoing governorship election campaign in Kogi Central Senatorial District in order to respect the late Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Dr. AbdulRahman Ado-Ibrahim.

The announcement was made by Ozigi Salami, Secretary of the APC Campaign Council, in a letter addressed to members of the Ododo/Oyibo Campaign Council on Sunday.

“This is to bring to the notice of all directorates, support groups, and teeming supporters of the Ododo/Oyibo project and the general public that the Ododo/Oyibo Campaign Council has decided to suspend all political activities in Kogi Central Senatorial District to honor the demise of our revered king, Dr. Ado Ibrahim, who God Almighty has called to eternal rest,” the letter read.

The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland died at the age of 94 and has been buried according to Islamic rites.
