Ondo APC expels Ajasin’s daughter over anti-party activities

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Ondo State Chapter on Friday expelled two governorship aspirants on its platform for anti-party activities.

They are Jumoke Anifowose-Ajasin and Nath Adojutelegan who dragged the party and Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to court over the outcome of the 2020 governorship primary.

The Party said the decision is in line with Article 21 of the APC Constitution.

Addressing a news conference in Akure, the State Spokesman of the party, Alex Kalejaye, said the wards of both Anifowoshe and Adojutelegan had also suspended and subsequently expelled the two former Governorship aspirants in Owo and Akoko Northwest local government areas of the state.

It would be recalled that the duo had gone to courts to challenge the candidacy of Rotimi Akeredolu as the party flag bearer at the 2020 gubernatorial election in the state which the governor at different times have  been declared winner at the courts.
