Celebrating Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi’s 48th birthday, the new queen, Ashley Ogunwusi nee Adegoke, has prayed for her husband.
The princess turned queen dropped her former title and has embraced her new title as queen. She referred to herself as HRH OLORI AFOLASADE ASHLEY ADEYEYE-OGUNWUSI OJAJA II.
She took to her Instagram page to celebrate the monarch. She referred to the king as her Akande.
The new queen posted several photos of the monarch dressed in his traditional white outfit and some other photos of him celebrating with his people.
Olori Ashley also prayed for Oba Adeyeye. She prayed that the Lord give him strength to overcome his challenges as the leader of the Yoruba Kingdom.
