Princess Adeola’s grandfather and father to Omolara, Oladapo Olatunbosun, has rebuked his daughter for dragging Ooni of Ife in a parenting scandal, he also denied all allegations made by his daughter.

According to him, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi did no wrong in raising his daughter.

Recall that in recent news, Omolara, who is the mother of Princess Adeola, had revealed how she took care of her daughter single handedly for more than ten years.

She also claimed that Ooni’s usual ‘single parenting’ speech is false considering she raised her till she (Adeola) went to the palace for a holiday when she was thirteen.

Omolara came out with the statement after the monarch’s declaration of single parenting he made on social media on Adeola’s 28th birthday.

Reacting to Omolara’s allegations, the father, Olatunbosun, who is also an ex-broadcaster and poet, said the monarch and their family’s relationship has been nothing but cordial and fruitful since their encounter.

He said the ‘noble family’ has done nothing wrong and implied that Omolara wants to tarnish the king’s image.

He said, “I can vouch for the integrity of my noble friend, Baba Oba John Oluropo Ogunwusi, and Oònirìsà Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Òjája, too.

“As a man known for Yorùbá culture and traditions, I will always respect the stool of Oduduwa and Àrólé Oduduwa. I am not a bastard.

“That noble family has never done anything wrong to my family to warrant arrogantly damaging their reputation in the mass media or the press. I am not a bastard.”
