The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has tied the knot with his new wife, Mariam Anako. This is the monarch’s fourth marriage.
News of the marriage preparation had begun in March according to City People tv.
Sources claim his new wife, Mariam, is an Ebira woman from Kogi state. Her parents live in Ilorin. Delegates had been sent to seek her hand in marriage.
Mariam Anako is an Oil and Gas executive. She works in NestOlil. Reports claim she has always been a great help to the King.
The monarch’s new marriage is coming less than a year to Olori Naomi’s public announcement.
Recall that Olori Silekunola Naomi Ogunwusi, had announced her separation from the king in 2021. She said she doesn’t feel like she is in a marriage anymore and she had tried her best to make it right.
She also stated that she doesn’t want to be addressed as the King’s wife but her son’s mother.
