The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Dr Iyorchia Ayu, has appointed Alhaji Yusuf Abubakar Dingyadi as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Media and Communication.
The appointment letter dated July 26, 2022, which was authoritatively signed by the National Secretary of the Party, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, indicated that the appointment took effect from July 1, 2022.
Dingyadi, a seasoned and veteran Journalist has worked in different capacities in the media spanning over two decades before venturing into politics.
He served under Late Shehu Musa Yar’Adua’s media team of the Social Democratic Party (SDP). He also served as a media aide to Late Abubakar Koko (Sarkin Yakin Gwandu), former Governor Attahiru Bafarawa and Governor Aminu Tambuwal respectively.
He is a member of the PDP Northern Caucus of Media Professionals, a youths forum, a former employee of many news outlets including BBC Hausa, and correspondent of Reporter/Nasiha Newspapers among others.
Dingyadi served as a Public Relations Officer (PRO) PDP Sokoto state, Secretary Caretaker PDP Kebbi and different Ad-hoc committees of PDP at both local and national levels.
