Governors elected under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will on Thursday, hold an emergency meeting in Abuja to discuss the party’s leadership crisis.
The Director-General, PDP Governors’ Forum, Hon. C.I.D Maduabum, made this known in a statement he issued in Abuja on Wednesday.
The statement said the emergency meeting was summoned by the forum Chairman and Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, in consultation with his colleagues.
It noted that the meeting slated for 5pm would discuss recent developments in the PDP.
The forum enjoined all PDP members and stakeholders to exercise patience as efforts were on to ensure the stability of the party in the days ahead.
The meeting became necessary following the sack of Uche Secondus as the national chairman of the party by the court.
