Plateau Speaker Yakubu Yakson Sanda has lost his constituency seat to candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Also, the Majority leader who represents Mikang State Constituency under the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) Naanlong Gapyil Daniel lost his re-election bid to Matthew Sule of the opposition PDP.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Hon. Mrs. Happiness Matthew Akawu, won Saturday’s election for Pengana constituency Assembly seat.
Hon. Mrs. Akawu scored 9,926 votes to defeat Sanda of the APC, who scored 7,936 votes.
