The Delta State Police Command has confirmed the murder of a Nollywood actor, Emma Buchi, in Asaba.
The Abia-born actor as reported was found dead and decomposing in an empty apartment.
The state police stated that the details about his death are still uncertain but his death has been confirmed a homicide.
The spokesperson of the Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the news on Tuesday, July 12.
He said, “The incident is confirmed and it is confirmed that it is a murder case.
“But we cannot tell who was behind it for now. We are investigating the case.”
Just last month, the actor had shared a location shoot on his Instagram page where he appeared with Ghanaian actor, Van Vicker. His last post on Facebook was on July 6.
A colleague with the name Melody Obia on his Facebook account stated that the actor was murdered by his P.A, Sunny in Asaba.
He said the boy was seen moving Emma’s properties after his death.
Melody wrote, “This is my friend Prince Emma Buchi an Actor. He was allegedly murdered by this young boy Sunny who was his PA in Asaba. The boy was seen carrying all his properties even when he was nowhere to be found.
“Emma was found in his house dead after days while his body was decomposing in a now-empty apartment.
“The boy was a meat seller at Bonny Street Umuahia, Abia state. He comes from Amuzukwu. Anyone with any useful information should please contact me or his family or our AGN guild or the police Please share and help us find him.”
The State Police are yet to confirm this allegation.
