Singer Habeeb Okikiola also known as Portable, has tendered his apology to the Headies Award organisers over death threats he made for nominees of his category.

The singer had taken to his Instagram page on Tuesday morning, June 21, to release a statement stating that he was sorry and didn’t mean those words.

He added that the video has been taken down from his Instagram page.

In his caption, he tagged the HIP TV and Headies award, and wrote, “On behalf of myself, my management and the entire Zeh nation I sincerely apologize for my unguarded utterances as I do not mean any harm to the nominees in any way.

“The video has been deleted on my page and I appreciate all your support so far God bless my Fans God bless the headies.”

Recall that the Zazoo Zeh crooner who is nominated in the ‘Rookie of the Year’ and ‘Best Street-Hop award’ alongside others have threatened to kill anyone who dares takes the award.

He was earlier in the news over a gang beating scandal and has been ordered to make a report at the police station for questioning.
