Rapper CDQ speaks after bail from NDLEA

Rapper CDQ who was arrested for drug possession by NDLEA has spoken for the first time since the arrest after he was granted temporary bail.

Recall that the artist was arrested in his Lekki home on Wednesday, April 14 on alleged possession of ‘Loud’ substances. According to the officials, their informants give the artist’s name as suspect.

They stormed the artist’s home and it was recorded live on CDQ’s IG, where he repeatedly asked for a proof or warrant to confirm the arrest.

However, the spokesperson of the agency, Femi Babafemi, later confirmed the arrest in an interview with The Punch.

CDQ, after bail took to his Instagram Live to wish the perpetrators well.

He said, “They will try to mess with me, but in life sha, ka sha ma see dada (Let’s be good). Nobody is happy.

“Like I always say and I keep telling people, Ibere Ija la ma mo, ko se ni to ma mo igba to ma pari.(We are always aware of when misunderstanding starts but no one knows when it will end). Whoever is behind this, I’m telling you, you will reap your fruit.”

He also took to his Twitter to write, “My mum just said mi o leyan sugbon mo ni Olohun. Eleshe ni mi o sugbon mi o ba t’eda je ri. Fi gbogbo ija e le fun Olorun.

“Whoever is behind all these false accusations. It shall boomerang on them and their family. They can’t spoil the name I built with sweat and blood. Yeh Yeh.”
