Rapper DMX loses battle to drug overdose at 50

American rapper, DMX, has unfortunately passed away after a drug overdose battle.

Recall that the rapper, 50, was hospitalised after he suffered a heart attack from a drug overdose. He was later diagnosed of COVID-19 while on life support.

On Wednesday following some tests, doctors had reported “not good” to his diagnosis after his brain remained the same when he was first brought in. It was reported that the overdose had affected his brain.

He died at White Plains Hospital on Friday, April 9, 2021.

In the early hours of Friday, founder of Loud records and his manager,Steve RifKind had reassured his fans that the rapper is still alive but still fighting on life support.

DMX is best known for his songs, ‘Where the Hood at’, ‘Party up’, and others.
