Afrobeat rapper, Oladipupo Oladimeji aka Oladips, has finally reacted to the death hoax.
Recall that the singer on November 15, was announced dead by his management. The news stated that he had died a day before and his remains had been taken to his parents.
Shortly after that, an associate and colleague, Qdot, had reported that the rapper is in fact alive. The report stated that he had just eaten and he is doing fine contrary to the reports that he died.
Many claimed the death stunt was to promote his upcoming album ‘Superhero Adugbo’.
Oladips on his Instagram story has spoken his mind about the death hoax. He stated that he was fighting for his life while the rumour was circulating.
He blamed Qdot for spreading rumours about him especially since they are not close friends. He vowed to speak his truth.
The IG story read, “I know there is cruise. There is clout. And then there is truth!
“Qdot, the reason why you posted ‘My gee is alive’ at a time my family was unsure of my situation is so appalling and uncalled for. I dey where I dey struggle with my life, you dey post ‘My gee is alive.’ Unnecessarily misleading everyone. Made it look like me and you just had a conversation.
“Bro, I went through it and anything could have happened. The last me and you had any conversation was January 2, 2022.
“I get proof and I will soon tell the story in full! Cos why una dey always do like this for this industry tori olorun?”
