American rapper, Austin Richard Post, also known as Post Malone, has revealed he is expecting his first child with his longtime girlfriend.
The rapper, who has kept his relationship private for a long time told TMZ how excited he is becoming a dad.
In a statement to TMZ, Post Malone said, “I’m excited for this next chapter in my life.
“I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and for [as long as] I could remember I was sad.
“Time to take care of my body and my family and friends, and spread as much love as we can every day.”
The 26-year-old and his girlfriend celebrated the new announcement in a private party with friends and family in Southern California over the weekend according to reports.
Sources claim they are both happy for the new development.
