Jamaican and American rapper Safaree has spoken on the pressure that comes with social media.

Safaree made the statement in a post on his Instagram on Tuesday, March 30, 2021.

He said people’s mindset are being controlled by what they see on the internet, describing social media pressure as being desperate for show off.

The rapper posted a photo to voice out his opinion on social media and the crazy it brings.

According to him, social media has destroyed people’s mentality to success.

He added that people working are now being seen as a waste of time because it doesn’t bring enough money to show off.

He also said women without the most trendy fashion item see themselves as failures, and this drives them into playing dangerous games and it doesn’t stop because it’s a difficult pill to swallow.

“Social media got 22-year-olds wanting to off themselves because they don’t make a 6 figures and drive a 7 series. Sh*t is terrible.

“Got woman thinking if you can’t afford a Chanel bag, you are doing bad in life and offer nothing. Got dudes thinking a good 9-5 is slavery.

“Nobody likes their body, nobody like their home. Just a mass group of people wanting what others have or pretend to have.”

He also added a caption to buttress his point and to appreciate his childhood.

“I loved my childhood, y’all new kids in your teens and 20’s got a lot of pressure on y’all for sh*t that ain’t real.” It read.
