Media personality, Ifedayo Olajide, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has advised people facing difficulties in their marriages to opt for divorce.
According to him, some are stuck in bad marriages but they can’t leave because of society and the bills involved in the divorce process.
He said divorce is not for the ‘poor’.
The broadcaster posted on his Instagram on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, to advice spouses not comfortable in their marriages to opt out, talk to a lawyer.
He further went to state the need for people to respect people’s decision of divorce because it’s not easy.
Daddy Freeze said, “You need to respect anyone who can go through with a divorce. Many people are stuck in bad marriages because they can’t AFFORD a divorce. Filling for a divorce requires guts and could run into MILLIONS.”
He listed signs to look out for in marriages and when it’s okay to call a lawyer.
“Sadly, divorce is not for the poor people! Many people are trapped in bad marriages, because of the financial and emotional requirements of leaving a putrid union.
“Read the following points very carefully. Are you constantly cheating or being cheated upon? Are you facing physical and emotional abuse? Are you with a partner who you don’t love or doesn’t love you?
“If you answer ‘yes’ to two or more of the options, you have no business in that marriage, talk to a lawyer now.”
Daddy Freeze, who was recently caught up with an adultery scandal with Benedicta Elechi, also claimed he was in an abusive relationship hence the reason for divorce of his first marriage.
The adultery between Daddy Freeze and Bendicta was blessed with a son, Jason, in 2015.
