Nollywood actor, Yemi Ayebo, popularly known as Mr Yemi My Lover, has retracted his allegations against gospel singer, Tope Alabi.
Recall that a few days ago, a blogger had shared a viral video of the actor making claims that he made Tope who she is.
According to him, the gospel artiste had neglected him following her debut in the industry. He said he had submitted a letter to Tope’s office to ask for help concerning his birthday party and the ‘Angeli Mi’ singer had ignored him.
Yemi My Lover in a viral video shared by the same blogger, said, “Please, was I the one that created Tope Alabi’s company that I’m supposed to be entitled to her gains? Was I the one that promoted her work?
“It’s not like that. The God I serve doesn’t allow poverty in my life. I am contented with what my God is doing for me so I do not depend on Tope Alabi.
If you see us talking or fighting, it’s out of love. Nothing but love. I do not depend on Tope Alabi.”
He said his words about the birthday was because he was angry she didn’t partake in it but that’s because they are one family.
