The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo, has dismissed reports that he had withdrawn from the race.

Adebayo made this known on Twitter yesterday shortly after signing the second peace accord.

The SDP flagbearer assured Nigerians that he is in the presidential race to win it, ruling out an alliance with any party or its candidate.

He, however, warned his rivals to stop peddling fake news and play to the rules.

He wrote: “I get inquiries by well-meaning voters, irritated by mischievous rumours, innuendoes and fake news by @OfficialAPCNg, @OfficialPDPNig and disappointingly also  @NgLabour that SDP is in collaboration with them or I have withdrawn for any of them. It’s a lie. Ignore them. Vote for SDP”.

The Presidential and National Assembly elections will hold this Saturday across the country.
