Singer Asake’s London concert has been cancelled over a breach of security.
The concert that was supposed to be held at 02 Academy Brixton, on Thursday, December 15, 2022, got cancelled after a Police officer got on stage to announce that some are still stuck outside, some are injured and left in critical condition.
The people who were still stuck outside when Asake started performing, were reported to have broken into the arena leading to a stampede.
Two people were stabbed while others fell trying to get to safety.
The police officer who stopped the show stated that over 3,000 people were standing outside and freezing under the cold with more congestion inside the auditorium.
The concert goers booed them out of the stage. They also got in clashes with the police officers trying to ensure safety after the pandemonium broke.
