Singer Nikki Laoye has cried bitterly over Sammie Okposo’s funeral that was held on Thursday, December 15, 2022, barely a month after he passed.
Sammie Okposo died in his sleep on November 25, 2022, at 51.
A night of tribute was held for him on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.
A viral video had shown his wife in uncontrollably tears at the burial site when she was pouring sand on the casket and saying her goodbyes.
Nikki Laoye shared a video from the funeral and expressed how shattered she felt when Sammie’s remains were being lowered to the ground.
She described the moment as heartbreaking for her and the last thing she ever imagined.
According to her, she kept thanking him for all he has ever done for her. In her caption, she thanked him for loving, protecting and fighting for her.
Her caption read, “Oh God! My Big Brother,Bros eee ?? Ahhh seeing you in that casket,watching you being lowered into the ground was super heart breaking for me,the last thing I ever imagined to happen this year.
